Shaveta Sharma-Kukreja

Shaveta Sharma-Kukreja is a leader in the social sector with over two decades of experience across education, gender, leadership, and organizational development. A founding team member of Central Square Foundation (CSF) in 2012, she served as its CEO and Managing Director until March 2026, leading the organization’s work in Foundational Literacy and Numeracy, Early Childhood Education, EdTech and AI, and School Governance. Under her leadership, CSF grew from a start-up into one of India’s most respected education-focused philanthropies. Shaveta currently serves as Trustee and Advisory Board Member at CSF and advises several organizations, including Leadership for Equity, Saarthi Education, The Udaiti Foundation, and India Leaders for Social Sector (ILSS). She also mentors social entrepreneurs on strategy and leadership. Prior to CSF, she worked with The Boston Consulting Group, Global Vantedge, and Citibank. She holds a degree in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce and an MBA from IIM Bangalore. She is a proud parent to two young adults & furry-boy. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching Hindi movies & listening to music, solving Sudoku & Kakuro puzzles and traveling with her family.
