Nishtha Kapoor
Knowledge Manager
Nishtha, a storyteller at heart, is a development sector professional with over 6 years of experience leading initiatives in gender justice and child protection. In her previous roles, she served as a Program Manager at Protsahan India Foundation, where she played a key role in creating and leading programs for grassroots girls' leadership in over 86 urban slum clusters of Delhi. Additionally, she worked with Kshamtalaya Foundation as a Learning Revolutionary, collaborating with school teachers, principals, and community members in two EDMC schools on the Whole School Transformation Project.
She holds a Master's in Politics with a specialization in International Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Alongside her professional endeavors, Nishtha is a feminist poet, storyteller, and artist, and she strongly believes that art is the most powerful tool to advocate for social change.
Nishtha is a fellow at Vital Voices and a Rise Up Leader. She was also selected as a 'Young Leader Delegate' to the 2019 AIT SEASAT Youth Conference in Taiwan.
In her current role at Adhyayan, Nishtha serves as a Knowledge Manager, responsible for overseeing all knowledge-related activities, including management, capture, sharing, and accessibility of knowledge assets.
